Education & Background: Sofia holds an M.Sc. in Coastal Engineering from Delft University of Technology (2018) and a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Universidad de los Andes, Colombia (2014). She is EurIng-accredited and WEF Technical Specialist certified.
Career Highlights: As Coastal Resilience Lead at MarProtect, Sofia designed breakwater systems for Cartagena’s historic port, using eco-engineering techniques that enhanced marine biodiversity.
